Wilson Dorsey, late of Milwaukee, WI and since last June, a resident of North Carolina, signed on to compete in what (based on our records) was his first ‘win money’ event, below the storied Mason-Dixon Line (basically, the southern border of Pennsylvania). He’d competed and cashed in an event in Las Vegas back in 2019, but Vegas is technically above that imaginary line. Seems as though the geographic and meteorological relocation may be working out well for him, because he’s just won an event on the PremierBilliards.com’s Q City 9-Ball Tour at a stop in New Bern, NC this past weekend (Jan. 13-14). It’s Dorsey’s first recorded cash finish anywhere since 2019 and his first (recorded with us) win, anywhere, at any time, as well.
