Doubts about Viking G69

Hello,

I am beginner (from Brazil) where it is very difficult to find quality products to play. Here I find only chinese cues (the bad ones), and I know there are several brands in USA with high quality products.

Looking on Ebay, I found a Viking cue, model G69, upgraded with a Vikore shaft, and I ended up buying it. However, I have no experience and I do not know if it was a good buy (I did not know this forum at that time).

Can anyone tell me if I made a good purchase and mention something about the brand and the quality of it?

Thank you,

Artur

Good brand good quality but it depends on the stick. The real question is, how does it feel to you?

normally vikings are good cues that play good enough but imo the shafts have a little to much flex for me. but since you got the vikore shaft you got a good buy. the vikore shaft is dope. the design isn't my cup of tea but it'll play good and that's all that really matters. if i were you i'd get a cheaper version with the same shaft.

next time read some reviews or ask on the forum before you pull the trigger. hope you like it. i really did dig the vikore shaft. nice and stiff with plenty of feedback. not over the top with all that LD bs just a good playing shaft.

let us know how you like it after you get it. what kind of table are you playing on?

I had a Viking G series cue with the quick release joint. I added an OB Classic shaft and that cue played great. I think you'll be pleased until you're ready to move up or add another shaft....sounds like a good start! Good luck.
