Dr. Dave "day job" pool interview

That was a very pool positive little snippet Dr Dave :)
I`m not an American, but It seems to me that American pool needs more guys like you :thumbup2:

Thanks again to everybody for the supportive comments.

Best regards,
Dave

It is great to Dr. Dave incorporating pool in school in such a way that is very educational and could bring attention to the sport in a positive aspect. With as many lessons as you give incorporating pool I bet you could do some instructional videos or something with all that knowledge. Best of luck in your future endeavors and thank you for everything.

The sport certainly needs all of the attention it can get.

I have a few future projects planned; although, I already have a large collection of instructional products out there (at dr-dave-billiards.com).

Best of luck in your future endeavors and thank you for everything.
Thanks.

Best regards,
Dave

Dave:

I really enjoyed that -- thanks for posting! I was fortunate enough to have such passionate instructors and professors (military and then university, respectively) as yourself in my career. Also had some real bombs, as well, but fortunately for me there were only a few.

It's nice to see the science of pocket billiards being used as real-world instructional material (even if just sidebar stuff).

Great job.

Thanks Sean!

I've met a few physics instructors who also use pool examples in class. It would be great if every physics instructor at every high school and university also did this. Maybe that would help more people appreciate our sport.

Catch you later,
Dave

I am not receiving e-mail notifications when posts are made to subscribed threads, like I normally do. Is it just me, or is it happening to others also?

Also, I tried to update my custom avatar, and I got errors both with supplying a URL and a file (which was within the size limits). Now I don't have any avatar at all. Does anybody know how to fix this. I've sent an e-mail to the administrator, but I haven't gotten word back yet.

Thanks,
Dave

Dr. Dave you are a credit to our obsession. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you ... and you're welcome.

I'm still not receiving e-mail notifications of posts. Is that happening to others?

Catch you later,
Dave

I use taptalk (android) it seems to be working fine. But that is not really relevant to email notifications.

Thank you very much for your website, Dave. Your videos have been super helpful in deciding quarrels, whether I have had those arguments with someone else or just in my head.

Have you ever tried to expand your reach? Have you ever been on TV discussing pool? You have sort of a hook, the professor thing, maybe try to get on Letterman or Fallon. You can be the Dr. Ruth of pool.

Dr. D's too tall to be Dr. Ruth.

You're welcome. I'm glad my stuff has been useful to you.

Catch you later,
Dave

PS: Anybody else having trouble with e-mail notifications? The only way I know if somebody posts in a thread to which I am subscribed is to look for the threads on the main forum.

... but it sure would be fun to attempt to imitate that cute voice and giggle when talking dirty. :grin-square:

PS: Is e-mail notification working for you? In other words, do you get an e-mail indicating that I replied to your post?
