Dr. Dave on vacation in exotic place❓

I’ve been very busy with Boot Camps, lessons, and a new project (Video Encyclopedia of One Pocket). I will return, but it might be another couple of weeks.
You’ve probably already thought about this, Dr. Dave. It would be swell to see video excerpts of a DD Boot Camp.
Are lights out early? Do you conduct bed checks? Is it true attendees have to stroke their cue 10,000 times a day?

I also salute your expansion into One Pocket. The first thought that came to mind is are you a billiards aficionado?
The beauty of 3 cushion is you to observe your shot on its path, evaluate how well you stroked it and get to observe
if you will be successful & did you create an easier or harder next billiard shot. And when you miss, it’s like a golf putt.

You root for that ever so slight last contact and watch as it slides by never knowing if it’d be a billiard until it misses.
3 cushion is Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers gliding on the ballroom dance floor. When played correctly, it becomes mesmerizing. The cue ball speed as it travels on its intended journey can mesmerize you when it’s been struck well.

I grew up playing 3 cushion and know what? I don’t recall ever having to wait for an open table anywhere. Now pool,
heck, there’d be a waiting list on many evenings and even some rainy day weekend afternoons but never with billiards.

When I play it, it looks more like scraggy and scoobie running from the guy wearing a sheet.

Great news, can you share when we can expect to see VEOP?

We filmed some "B-roll" footage this past weekend (Overview Course) and will do more this coming weekend (Advanced Course). The plan is to put together a little Boot Camp promo video.

I think VEOP will be my final big-production video series, but I agree that 3-cushion is a beautiful game. I've tried it only a few times, but I love watching the greats play it.
