Virtual Pool 4's excellent pool physics and shot controls make it a fun and useful experimental tool for pool nerds like me - I sometimes test its realism by comparing with my own results. For instance, here's a test of VP4's steepest achievable draw angles for familiar fractional cuts. To test it I shot the same shots myself - and got just about the same best results, even though on my aging 860 cloth I expected to do worse.
Anybody interested in helping me test VP4's realism? If so, shoot the shots from the CB positions shown (they're accurate for the fractional cuts) and see if you can draw the CB to hit as high (or higher) on the long rail as shown for each - and report your results here (with the speed/slipperiness of your cloth if you know it).
