Drexler + Chudy - Murrell : Durbin = I need HELP :)

hey guys , please help me to pull the tigger on one of these beautiful cues ..

I like them all , and play well with all of them ..

PFD is slightly "fav" but ...
wood on Chudy is fantastic and unique ...
Murrell looks very elegant ..
and Durbin's Spanish Bull leather wrap give me great feeling ...

I like both the Murrell and the Drexler. There is nothing wrong with the other two either. Those would be my preferences. Good luck.

Murell hands down all day long !
If its ebony forearm its a plus !
Wood design n color looks extremely balanced n soothing to the eye.
Moreover, kenny's cue seems to hold its value extremely well n i have never heard a bad word about that man.
Played with one once , balance is great, easy to control but seems to hit on the softer side but firm hit though.

Good luck w ur choice !

Those cues actually all look great together. I can see your preferences in wood, style, etc.


Based on looks? Oh I am so torn!


Only thing left is to play them and pick the player.


Play a set against the ghost with each. Pick the one that wins.

If you don't like that then send them all to me and I will test them and let you know. It may take a while as I would endeavor to be very thorough in testing them. :thumbup:


Lastly...I hate you. I mean...nothin but love man....but I hate you. :wink::wink::D

And 3-4 days later, after hard testing ( bottle of Johnnie Walker Black has evaporated in the air :D ) I have 2 guys in final..
Drexler and Durbin
They both are fantastic players..
Murrell and Chudy are too of course, but I find some interesting fact out..
Elephant make my palm sweating, that really irritates me.. :(


Durbin give me probably the best feeling in hand and play..
I just find Spanish bull leather is realy great thing.

And nothing can beat good Cuban cigar ;)

More pics of PFD are coming, because it is fantastic looking and playing cue , and made of one of my favorite wood (I'm a knifemaker and almost every day I have great woods in my shop working with, but amboina burl and snakewood are something special to me) ..
At last, fitting and finish on PFD are maybe the best of all 4 cues I have tested last few days..

so, very hard decision is waiting for me..

My friend that is the right kind of problem to have! lol.
I wish you could buy them all.
What a beautiful set of cues!
The PFD probably is very stiff and feels like the best cue ever.
But I know the same to be true of a Murrel if maybe it had a different wrap.
I read nothing but good about Durbin so you're making a good decision any direction you choose.
The best part is that you get to shoot with them before making a verdict.
