i believe it is morse taper #2

Measure the opening of the hole in the very front of the tailstock and we should be able to tell you for sure which Morse Taper it is.

Your lathe should have a MT#1 tailstock. I believe I have one, that I can't use, real cheap. pm me.

We do, and it's MT#2 BUT, I have a CD with the old Atlas manuals, parts lists and charts etc. on it and looked his model up.
