I just acquired an ebony, green leaf , full splice Dufferin with the single white butterfly splice in the butt sleeve area and the joint screw in the butt end- one of the true wood to wood JPs made way back by Dufferin, they came with wood piloted shafts with the rubber bumper that had the " made in Canada" print. I got mine from a guy in British Columbia, Canada.
I plan on pairing this butt with a matching Predator Z3 S tuned shaft that I already own- this should make a terrific SP - the ebony full spliced Dufferin SPs are the most expensive on the market when converted by named cue makers- I saw one last week with an asking price of about $1100- I think that is was a Larry Vigus.
These Green leaf Ebony Dufferin true SPs are just so cool- I also have an original Dufferin soft cue case- some of these were made very well back in that time, and the original wood pilot shaft. - they are just an iconic part of a certain pool era here in the U.S.
