Durometers and tips

What shore type durometer is best for tips??. I have a type A that seems to measure most tips about the same.

Tommy I use a Type C which measures from Soft - Med hard!!!! this is what most people using one for tips use.

where did you buy yours from?

The type 'D', IMO, works best for tips. To get consistent accuracy it must be mounted and used on a stand.
