I recovered a couple of coin op tables for a friend. This was the first time I have done a coin op. They did come out pretty nice although one of them had a sag in the center that was about 1/4". It is my understanding that it is the frame that sags but is there anything that can be done? I am going back to replace the cushions on that one and thought I might pop the slate up and get a couple of shims in there. I know you guys have had some experience with this.

I told him ahead of time about this issue and he still wanted to put on a worsted cloth (860HR). I think now the issue is worse with balls rolling towards center.

BTW to add to my tool arsenal I just ordered an air stapler! I did enjoy the work and results....

If you shim the slate up to level...you won't be able to bolt the rails back on....just keep that in mind.;)
