dynamo conversion question

they could be bevelled out (ground out) on the bottom.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time trying to extend out the slate shelves. 95% of the balls that miss going into a pocket are missed by at least a half diamond anyway. Getting better at playing pool comes from practice...practice...practice....and not from making the pocket target smaller. If smaller targets and deeper shelves made the player, then all the top pros would have them, but they don't, in fact I know quite a few pros, and they practice on 4 1/2" pockets...but they practice on stance, stroke, position play....none of this has anything to do with tighter pockets or deeper pocket shelves.

I once was a player, so I know of what I speak, and it's not that I can't play anymore;) I just choose to mechanic much more than playing:D

dynamo conversion

Glen, i do appreciate the feedback but I'm not tightening the pockets, just changing the angle slightly.I play on 7 footers so thats what I want to play at home on. where do I draw the line?-simonis, new rubber (existing was rock hard in places), pocket opening change. If the slate shelf thing doesnt work, no big deal-- hardly any extra money or time if I'm doing the other things as well.

corner extensions added

so I've added my extensions:used an adhesive remover then rubbing alcohol on all surfaces, mounted the slate on marble tile in all corners to get everything flush. Then epoxied it all together. It took about an hour and a half. in 24 hrs I'll know how well it holds.
