I recently purchased a set of 'Dynasphere Challengers' from Geoffrey @ 'Bradshaw Billiards'.
Geoffrey gave me a great deal on these balls and I must say, 'Dynasphere' is onto something!!
My set should have come with a 'How to play for Dummies' manual, 😁 bcuz I was to find out later, as the night wore on, there was a small learning curve to playing with this set.
Seriously!!
I had to back off.
Best way I can describe them is 'Crisp'.
They are lively!!
Forced to reign in the horses, so to speak. It was getting embarrassing!!
Thick on most of my cuts, or so it seemed.
These balls took spin extremely well, the rebound angle and distance threw me for a bit. More elastic??
I was long on shape with too much spin damn near the entire night, on a half-tip, no less. 🤦🏻‍♂️
These balls impressed.
This is mostly supposition on my part as I haven't had them very long, but imo, they seem to stay cleaner than my other sets and I haven't noticed any scratches or blemishes on any of the balls. I hand polish them at nights' end.
Premium phenolic resin!!
I'm not used to playing with top shelf equipment.
These 'Dynas' are, imo, Top Shelf!!
I stand by it!!👊🏻
Look out 'Aramith!!'
Best set of balls at this price point I've ever owned.
Tolerances were tight!!
I weighed the set.
Weight came in + or - 0.5 gram.
Measurement came in + or - 0.26 mm of each other!! 😳 (Digital Caliper.)
Tight!!👊🏻

If my balls are tight, I'm happy!!😆

If you're on the fence, Jump!!
Check out 'Bradshaw Billiards' or PM 'Geoffrey' while he's still in a giving mood. 😉

Thank you for doing me a solid Geoffrey. 👊🏻

I got a set also from Bradshaw billiards, Great Guy, and fantastic balls, You can read what my impressions were about them in that original posting. Looks like I'm not alone in how they play. They are fantastic. It's been about a week and a half to two weeks for me and I haven't cleaned them yet, don't know when I will feel the need to clean them, and I still use masters chalk. I virtually never chalk my break stick at home though.
These balls are the real deal.
One other thing, they rack tighter easily than my Aramith Premiums. My Aramith Premiums are about 7 yrs old though. I do have a set of Aramith Duramiths, but really cant compare as I virtually never use them. I only use them when my wifes friend is over, she is picky. They are a good looking set of balls but do get dirtier faster than these Challengers, that's the only difference at this time I know.

How much were they?

The set seems like a bargain price and has tight tolerances according to Mensabum’s measurements.
Appearance wise, it’s a pretty Ho Hum design but for this price, it’s very unrealistic to criticize the design.
I look forward to seeing how the pool balls hold up over time but Dynasphere pool balls seem to be popular.

They look really fine in person, the only complaints I have is why I paid so much for Aramiths.
