Bob does some nice work from what I've, and the cue should be well worth your wait. BR is a good choice. I also like the veneer combinations.

Thanks for the comp Greg. I though the veneer combination looks great, I was originally going to have yellow in there too but I like it better this way.

Bob has started construction of my cue. This is my first custom, and my first from him. Definately not my last! Here is a pic of the forarm components. I can't wait till this puppy is done. It's going to be a hot one!!!

Looks like BR to me and will be awesome with clear coat. Love the veneer work too. Sharp looking forearm. This is going to be a very, very handsome cue. Congratulations , you will be proud of this for years to come. What will the wrab be?

@ginsu-haven't decided quite yet on the wrap. I would like a brown or black leather, but I don't know if I can afford when the cue is due. If that's the case then white with brown spec irish linen. Which will still look sexy.

@dukeboy1977-I have no regrets deciding on the thin black veneers in between the colored. It set me back about a month but it will definately be worth the wait. I'm glad I decided for the change. Glad you agree!!

That is a great looking cue, the thin black veneers really set off each veneer color and doesn't allow them to get lost in the mix... makes me want to change my order from green veneers to black/red/yellow.

Thank you for your compliments. I would say if you really want to then do it. It is a custom and you want to be completely satisfied. Green veneers look really really good to. Look at dukeboy1977's cue. It was made by Bob too and it looks really good!!

I really like the looks of that one after being turned, and I also think the thin black really brought out the look of it. I'm sure It's gonna be a fine playing cue.

Thanks for the compliment buddy, I definitely agree with you!! After all this time, and all the cues I've gone through to find one like this, I've FINALLY found a cue I can honestly say I'm keeping!! I've thought I'd keep some of my past cues, but somehow, there was always a doubt in the back of my mind and a thought that someday I'd find one better for me. Now, we all know I love my DZ cues for their playability, there's no doubt about that, but from the first time I hit balls with this one, it just felt sooo good to me. It just feels right, like he knew exactly what I wanted from all of my trial and errors in the past. He must take great notes!! lmao I gotta say, there is only 1 other cue I've played with that even comes remotely close, and thats the playing cue to my purpleheart "twins", which in conclusion to my lil' speech, lol, are the only 3 cues I have that will NOT be leaving my side unless by some odd circumstance they're stolen from me, but I don't see that happening
