Alex and Shane fought each other to a standstill in 1p before,
so maybe it boils down to, can efren give earl the break in 1p.

IMO yes, at one time (and maybe still) efren was the best on earth.
Don't think earl is known for his 1p though I'm sure he plays very sporty like any top pro should.

I wonder if shane's strategy at 1p is better than earl's. It's hard to say if shane's got a great mind
for 1p or he just shoots so inhumanly straight his strategy doesn't need to be top tier.
If he plays smarter than earl, and earl will accept coaching from him, I'd like their end.
Execution-wise there's nothing earl cannot do.

So how much fun would that be to watch? They actually like each other. They can challenge any team from this planet. I would pay to see this. The problem is finding any takers. 8,9,10 or straight pool. No BB or one pocket.

I doubt you would have much problem finding players. Backers on the other hand?

I'd take Dennis and efren vs. svb and earl. 10 ball. Only Dennis and earl break. Actually, I think you could have efren break and they'd drill em. Of course I don't think svb would ever take that game.
