Earl at The APN Dynamic Invitational Event. Here are the results!

I just got these updates from Pete Williams from the European 9 Ball Championship that Earl is playing in.

Here are some of the results:

The group stages are complete with no real upsets. Nick van den Berg had a
> shock when beaten by local player Brad Keats. Keats was 2-1 down and came
> back to win 5-2. This made it a nervous last match for van den Berg who

Bob, these are not the European 9-Ball Championships, this event is infact the APN Dynamic Invitational event.

You can find full reports from the Pro9 website I am associated with, I am not sure I am allowed to post links, but hopefully you will be able to find it on your travels.
 
Are you saying Americans can play in the european championships? I never knew that.

Imran beat Keith 9-5, Imran missed an absolute sitter at 8-4, but managed to win the match in the next rack.

These are the winners of those matches:-

In the quarters, Chamat won over Majid 9-8, Imran was 7-3 up on Marcus, but Chamat came back strong. Babica beat Nick 9-6, Mark Gray beat Paul Williams 9-6. Kevin Uzzell beat Putnik 9-8.

Semis, Chamat beat Uzzell 9-7, Mark Gray v Babica, it was 5-5 when I left, to get all the results and an in depth report, Pro9 will start to have the results up soon.

Side notes, Earl lost to Paul Williams 9-7, Earl was not at his best, but gave the audience some entertainment with his comments! Mark Gray is yes you guessed it, a snooker player! He has been in 9-ball for around 2 months and already has won a BPPPA event, along with a runner up spot in another BPPPA event.

You bet they are! It's a shame Imran Majid wasn't chosen to represent the UK at the European Championships next month :confused:

I tried to change it on the front copy to no avail. Sorry folks for using the wrong title. The correct title for this event is as Buckster says "APN Dynamic Invitational Event."
