If you really want to sell this then I suggest you find a way to roll this cue. I'd say 99% of people interested in this are going to ask you that question before making any decision.
From my standpoint, if you don't want to waste time you have a few options... find a way to roll the cue so you can answer people interested, use escrow/Marcus as Rio pointed out, or if you have a 100% feedback then list the thing on eBay since you are familiar with it... I'm trying to figure out why you didn't list this on eBay in the first place if you dont want to waste your time.
I'd also recommend you mention how the additional shaft is not specifically for the cue in question. You said it does not have the same inlays so basically it is just a non-matching Meucci shaft and slightly larger in diamater than the butt. Don't take that the wrong way its just this should be mentioned to interested buyers, and again, to save your time.
As for sending to Meucci, I think you said something like two months in your orginal post... be happy! Come Jan 7th they will have had one of my cues for SEVEN MONTHS and I can't even get an email response back from them anymore! That was the second time I sent it to boot! The first time they never did the work I asked! 'Darren' is the main cue guy from what I understand.
