I recently picked up this early Josswest and thought I'd try my hand at pictures.

Ebony into BEM 4 point
5 veneers (black, purple, black, green, natural)
All original, including wrap
Butt: 16.5 oz
Shaft 3.9oz Ivory ferrule 13.28mm at tip

Does anyone recognize the case?

Josswest

Great pickup
These are really popular here in Colorado.
Several were made here when he was in Aspen and Colorado Springs.

Have you had a chance to hit with it yet?

Congratulations on a nice vintage Josswest.

I played with it a bit the other night. It's a little longer at 58 inches, than my others. It hits very well but, I was having a little trouble (mental) with a thicker shaft than I'm used to. For a heavier cue (20.4oz) it was nicely forward balanced.

maybe a custom made Huebler case?

It's not marked anywhere and I have no clue. It's in fantastic shape, but as far as I know it could be a $10 Walmart case. It is vinyl, and not leather.

Anyone else?

Perfect cue for me!

If I wasn't destitute, I'd make you an offer on it...

Perfect, classic, timeless. The old Joss West cues are really great.
