Early pics of my Murrell

Gonna be finished in about 10 days :)

These pics were taken after the first epoxy coat, second coat has gone on now, cue just to be sanded, then the top coats put on.

After that I have to pick a wrap, thinking a dark tan would go well? What do you reckon folks?

I have a strong feeling I will be ordering another from Kenny if the cue is as good as I expect. The whole experience has been superb, with great communication, and also the cue is completed almost exactly on schedule, which is good considering the wait was 13 months!!

I'm jealous......you must be excited to be getting this cue.....handsome propeller inlays too.....amazing workmanship.
Interestingly, my cue being built also uses propeller inlays.......it's an added treat to see progress photos of any cue
build, especially your own cue......observe the different portions be assembled....watch it come together.......see the
entire process happen and then to get the finished product.....it's a great experience.

I'm not saying that because I have a cue being made right now. I haven't received a lot of progress photos of my cue
but when I have gotten photos, it's just makes everything all the more exciting. And Kenny Murrell makes handsome
cues and seeing one of his cues evolve via photos is so interesting.

That's an awesome cue and I bet you can't wait until you get your hands on it.

Congrats, Jerry

The only thing we agreed up front was EE, Kenny is going to send me some pics when the top coat is on with some different colour options. I quite like the black option, but have to see them sitting next to the cue before I decide.

Nice Murrell, love it.

I'd say the ee wrap on cue #2, and since it's a Murrell he may have stock. It might be too close to the color of the wood, so black is always a good choice. I'm sure you'll make the best decision for your taste.

Post some pics of the wraps test draped over the handle so we can live vicariously through you
