I'm not sure..It's not micarta and I can't see any veining in it so it's probably not Ivory..

As far as I know it was late 90-thru 91...May have been 93???

I have a '93 SL3 and that is the exact same shaft I have. I'm no expert, so I'm not sure if it came on the older ones as well.

GLWS, they're great shafts. I love mine, and hardly touch the newer Schon shaft with the script writing I have.
