too risky

seems suspect to me.

any cue sale over $500 i expect to see good quality, high-detail pictures from several angles.

also, i would need a LOT more info/description about the cue. and finally the low transaction number causes concern.

if you talking about my old avatar..i know i did too but the wife hated her pix was on here...and i lost a bet so down it can...never to return.....im sad....lol
 
If your curiosity gets the best of you buy it and use PayPal to pay for it. If you don't like it, and the seller won't refund your money have PayPal get your money back. It will take about 60 days. If you don't mind tying your money up for that long and going through the claim process then have at it.

A 17 ounce cue doesn't interest me and the shaft is too thin for my liking. In my opinion even if it is a Southwest you'll have a tough time flipping it with those specs.

It could be a home run or a foul ball.

I think the guy dreamed-up those specs. You can almost just look at the cue and tell it weighs nowhere near 17.

To the person who suggested that I buy the cue: I've had my fill of buying and selling cues. I'm actually trying to get rid of what I have.

I have tried to contact the buyer for pictures and he claims that he is out of town. He is offering a refund within the first 7 days. I am interested in maybe buying it and checking it out and tying some of my money....?

Lol, Time will tell and if its not a Southwest, do i get some interest on my money? I will take some closer pics IF i get it and post them to let everyone know, if its real.

Good luck. Before you win the auction, I'd try to get him to agree to not being paid until he's back in town and able to send better pics. That way you can protect yourself, and he doesn't have to worry about packing and shipping the cue out, only to have you send it back because it's not what he says it is.

I'd also try getting him on the phone before winning and paying.

If he try's to circumvent reasonable conditions, I'd back-off the cue.

I would LIKE for him to send me pics and all the info if possible. It just depends on when he is getting back into town. I might not have a choice in the matter and i hope there is not going to be some crazy bidder at the end.
I want the lease amount of drama possible. lol

He did send me pictures of the pin and the butt sleave yesterday everthing I asked. I just don't know anthing about SW cues. I already deleted the emails from my yahoo account and can't seem to find them. Anyone know how to retrieve deleted emails from a yahoo account? They are still in my sent box, but not the attachments..... I just don't think he knows ANYTHING about cues. I think they are/were his dad's.
