Message appears slightly different in my email. I justed copied and pasted. How do I create a link to my email. Or how do I get a better copy of my email here. I actually checked tracking number and it appears to check out. Doe anyone know anything about this shipping company? Did anyone else get an email like this? I just dont want to get scamed.

I have no idea, but in general DO NOT post names/addresses on a public forum. Espescially if it's not your own.

did you buy the cue equipment and supplies from Roth ? ,,, otherwise, it's probably another eBay scam,,,,,,,,,,JMHO

You can read my thoughts in the other post as you probably have already.

I wouldn't do it. Western Union is I believe the best way to send money and have no recourse to get it back. It seems like all of the scammers use that.

Paypal was listed as a payment method on the auction, why the switch?

The whole thing looks and sounds bogus.

A reverse address look up via whitepages.com yields

<edited>
You can pm me me for a person's name and phone number that matches the address of the supposed seller..
I did have it in the post, but decided to take it out, Double Dave is right

Call that number, find out who lives there and see if that is the ****** residence. If it is and they don't know the seller, let them know their residence is being used in a possible scam.

He was telling multiple people (including me) the same thing, saying he would arrange shipping before payment was even made, was quite eager, providing no specific information, not open to a local pick up, couldn't say whether the machines were bought new from Chris or used, and the seller wasn't a customer of Chris as far as his records go.

Maybe I am wrong, but that many strands of suspicion wound together makes for a solid rope. If I am wrong, my apologies to whomever involved. I was hesitant to give my opinion while the auction was current, I hate to rain on people's business, but the auction is over now, so just my opinion.

do a little homework

If you do a little homework you will find that interfreight appears legit and has a Chicago office. From the e-mail they seem to be functioning as an escrow company and giving you three day right of refusal, hardly something to complain about.

I think that the seller is acting a bit strangely but it is also obvious that they are not regular e-bayers. I would talk to InterFreight to get a better idea what is going on. Get on the E-Bay forums to find out what people think of InterFreight and you can also probably check the Chicago or IL Better Business Bureau online.

I don't see anything here that screams scam but at the same time I would be cautious when people refuse to allow local pick up. Does the seller actually own what they are selling?

I often travel several days to pick up fairly large items or lots. The expenses are often about the same as freight and I get to see what I am buying and I pay with yankee dollars, deal complete.
