eBay cue

It's a knock-off,,,,I'd move on. There's tons of nice cues that are authentic without messing with stuff like this. Used OB's can be found for like 80-90 bucks or less. And besides, the shaft ain't everything,,,,,,,

Most production shaft has a uni-loc, because uni-loc is somehow pretty much endorsed by most production cues.

So... An OB shaft with uni-loc is not that unique.

Actually, most of the cheap import cues have a 5/16 18 pin. Either way tho, id still pass.

Anyone know if there is a way to check? Eg logo under the buutt cap or something like that?

Flea-Bay

No there would be no marking under the bumper if it were a Predator. The pin is right but the rings and buttcap look wrong to me. I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time. As far as the insignia on the buttcap yes they all had it in some way shape or form, but many have been refinnished and unless whoever refinished did't have to refinish the buttsleave or cap they would loose that mark in the process.

If you read his description he says the butt "LOOKS" like a Predator but he can't be sure!!

In my opinion, that is a knock-off. I have a 5K1 and I compared my pictures to that one in the bay and first, the colors of the butt sleeve are different, the one on the bay is really white and mine is yellowish.

But the biggest difference I see is the 2 black areas in between the rings and the butt sleeve. Both of the areas on my 5K1 are even. The one on the bay has uneven areas. The one closer to the butt sleeve is smaller than the other.

I hope it helps...

Might also be better to move this to the main forum maybe?
