EBAY- IT'S GEORGE case

Early IT'S GEORGE case (mid 80's).It is my understanding that they did not mark the earlier cases. I have sent the photos to the Palmercollector and Chris verified this as an early George. It has 4 slots inside. It is in average condition - as it has been well used. The leather shows signs of wear, mostly on the pouch. The zipper opens with ease. The clasp works smoothly and there is no rust. There is no wear to the shoulder strap.
Here is the link to the auction on Ebay - it ends Sunday......

That's got to be the earliest It's George I've seen. No name and also an unusually shaped pocket - more like a pouch.

When did your father's pool room close?

Chris

I have no information of how or when my Dad got that case, so I was entirely relying on your expertise!!
The Billiard Tavern in San Diego closed around 1987-1988 and my Dad moved back up to the Olympia (Washington) area.
