you're link wasn't working, that's funny, doesn't make much sense, the seller has no feedback but the guys who bid it up do an they dont have any negative feedback

They know it's a phony con-job copycat auction, so these guys bid it up so others won't get ripped off. They are the E-Bay vigilantes, out to protect us. They do this because when you report it to E-Bay it takes them a couple of days usually to get to cancelling the auction.

E-Bay is damn good about protecting their fees, and damn bad at protecting their customers.

Go figure.

I understand that the price of the bid is ridiculous, but how do you know that it's a "phony con-job" auction? Or was this humor and it was lost in the translation? Just for the record by the time I saw it, the price was $10,000,000.00. It doesn't tell me what the others were bidding, but the whole thing started at $9.

Vigilantes, are you serious? Kinda like going to the 'hood and picking a fight on the corner, so no one elsa gets hit, IMO...

Didn't know I had angels watching over my ebay.

How does the vigilante thing work. I thought that if you bid it was a binding contract?

Why does making 100 cues a year make it rare? Thierry Layani told me he makes around 70 a year and I am sure a lot of other custom makers are doing less than 100 a year. Southwest probably makes around 150 a year. They start their yearly numbering with the first cue of that year being 300.
