Here are 3 ebay auctions by the same guy who has 1 feedback. The prices are low for the cues and they come with a self-extracting file for the pics.
Could be totally legit, but there have been so many scams lately that anything strange jumps at you.

This was reported on another thread ... where I posted and said last auction with self-extracting files contained trojan virus.

I believe last auction similar to this one was pulled by eBay before the end.

I also posted asking what legit seller would list high dollar cues without providing pictures in the listing?

When I tried to download the file, my antivirus caught it. Said trojan. DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK!

Have a nice day,

Busted. VIRUS WARNING

I have determined that this eBay listing is disseminting a virus:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl.../search.dll?from=R40&satitle=7227965555&fvi=1

eBay item # 7227965555
seller: isla-creations
Purports to be a Scruggs cue.
Has this link in blue:
full size pictures in one self-extract archive

You are OK if you DON"T CLICK ON THAT LINK!
Doing so does download a .exe file/ or lets you run the .exe file. This file does contain pictures of a pool cue, though not the one in the descriptions. However, it also contains the TROJAN.BANKEM VIRUS, which attempts to capture banking information, especially if you do business with banks in Germany.

Symantec's (= Norton's) discussion of this virus, and how to deal with it / get rid of it are here:

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.bankem.html

I also sent this information to eBay.

Heres a picture of what you do to known scammers on ebay, who post virus'.

If you cant see the pic click This

Make a new username, and bid the item up to some high trivial amount and then never check it again.

If anyone is mad because i ruined this auction for them, trust me i did you a favor, this auction is a scam. The guy has 1 feedback, and has a virus hosted within the auction.

Also the listing is for a Scruggs, and his pictures are of a southwest???? Dont be stupid, dont get ripped on ebay, and NEVER pay by money order.

It will be fun to see the "feedback" on these purchases, if they ever get posted.

I am thinking of wrapping a cue in a plain brown wrapper and see how it goes. The XXX mystery cue for sale. I think it's going to be a muecci. ;)
