eBay Scam?

It has been recently refinished. IT would have to be a legitimate cue guy to take on a stick like this . Get his name to talk to. Also what buyer would not want provenance on a treasure such as this. With no paypal it gotta be an escrow deal.

now if he is saying that he cant take pictures because the cue belongs to his friend.. i deffinatly would bid on that cue.. now there is just too many wird things to keep somebody away... just because he has good feedback, it still could be a hacked ebay account..

Just spoke with Tim and he seems honest. He says he is Marlon Manalo's backer, Tim Corn.... (dont think I should post his last name). Tim said he has been burn on overseas deals with cues and had to eat the fees so he wants a money order. He also said the person he is selling it for wants $2300 and will end the auction early so come on down. Good luck.

If you look at the pin it's threaded all the way to the end aswell...not the way a true SW should be...

Looks like a SW pin to me, threads stop well short of the tip and you can see there is some inscribing on the pin.

How did you get his phone number? Did you send a message to spiritheeler? What area code is he in?

Thanks

Southwest for sale on EBay

The cue is for real and so is the seller - I know because I did the refinish recently and the inlay work on the butt for a previous local customer. Spirithealer was burned on a deal for 2 cues that went to Japan with Paypal (phoney credit cards) so don't blame him for wanting a more secure form of payment. And those ARE the facts!!!

i know the seller and the cue PERSONALLY.
It is a very pretty cue even though it's not original... i know the cues history for 3 or so years actually....
IT IS LEGIT! <and he lives 15 minutes from me and was on my pool team last session>

It's also a fact that he neglected to mention that the inlays were not original to the cue and certainly not done by South West cues. A fairly significant omission in my opinion. As far as the cue being "Real" .......If I had purchased a PFD cue and found that someone else had done the inlays I would not consider it to be a "Real" PFD cue. Having said that, I consider the work to be tasteful and well executed, I realize others may have a different opinion.
