Ebay seller ttsupra1994 ??

Recently 1/22 I won a cue on Ebay from a seller named ttsupra1994. he had 3 cues listed that were relisings for non payment. He pold me a person from Singapore had won all 3 and not paid. Finally today after 2 emails looking for shipping # he says the folllowing...

sorry for the late response. i am currently not at my address right now. something unexpected came up at my workplace and i've been gone since the items were listed. i dont know the exact dates of me coming back, but know that it's sooner than later. if you dont believe me, all i can say is that the city i live is Oxnard, California and there are two military military bases. please be patience. if you think you're having tough waiting, probably not even close to mine. thanks

any body else have e mails from this guy? He had an alex Brick, a Judd , and a Josey listed

Any suggestions, or anyone know about any issues in Oxnard

Sorry for the BAD NEWS but if my Memory Serves me correctly there are ZERO MILITARY BASES in Oxnard CA.

But in fairness there are several close to Oxnard CA like Point Mugu NAS on the out skirts of Oxnard, plus a within 1.5 hours Drive of Oxnard.
 
Checking his feedback all could be okay. In the listings he seems to know too much about the cues for it to be a scam. Was there a reserve did he get what he wanted. Have you paid already? If so you don't want to let it go past 30 days or you would lose paypal protection. Have you requested his contact info from Ebay so you can try the phone# to see if you get an answer. You could also then check the address. I hope all works out for the best.

On a side note where do you play in Bradenton? I have been there many times. My sister has a place in Longboat that I use. Since I sell production cues I have been in every pool hall and bar in that area pedaling my wares. It's been a couple of years but before that I was there winter time 5 years running. I use to do real well. I really miss it. :cool:

Okay kiddies, I'm a Navy brat, born and raised, and then married into it. I know know my Naval Air Stations. This information is part right and part wrong.

DaytonaJoe, don't panic just yet. From the list, from the link provided:

Point Mugu Naval Air Station, Oxnard, CA, USA
Port Hueneme, Port Hueneme, CA, USA

Mugu is considered as part of Oxnard proper, and Port Hueneme is not very far from Oxnard. Hueneme is the NOB (Naval Ocean Base) and Mugu is the NAS (Naval Air Station)...further explaination would be...one has boats, one has planes. ;)

The seller sounds like he is stationed at one of the two locations, and something may be going on that we don't know about and he was called up on orders unexpectedly. Very plausible, depending on his rate (specialty). Trust me on this, at least where the Navy is concerned, if he pulls something shady, he'll wish that the civilian authorities were handling it. The Navy doesn't take too kindly to their servicemembers indulging in criminal activities.

As hard as it is, and I would be stressing too, if it were me, try and give the seller a little more time. This may be a similar situation to that involving rkponyman posted here in another thread; the guy is trying to do right by you, he just may be unable to do so at the current moment.

I'm from China Lake Naval Weapons Station. How has BRAC affected your area as China Lake plans to get around 500-800 jobs transferred from your area?
 
I don't have any first-hand knowledge of this seller, but I have also considered bidding on his items. I hop it works out for you. That dude seems to have more than his share of ebay problems.
 
i am Singaporean.. u know the singaporean's ID ? i hope what he says wasnt true, as it leaves a bad name for us Singaporeans...when the majority are honest ppl living in a first world country...
 
It sounds as though the guy was deployed, and is not at liberty to tell you that.

I am the US distributor for a non-pool related product. My best salesman is also active duty Special Forces. As such he disappears for various lengths of time now and again, unexpectedly. I rarely get much explanation from him; occasionally he'll tell me what country he is in, but usually he just says he's tied up "at work."

I hope it works out for you. It doesn't sound like a typical scam, at least none I've been baited for (happens a lot, as I am in sales).

Well, I am thankfully no longer a Navy wife....divorced the guy several years ago. I am actually located up in Washington State now. All the Navy bases up here were spared from the closure list. However, with that said, I do happen to know that most all of the ATC operations @ Whidbey have been contracted out now to FAA controllers. This is the new trend @ alot of the bases....contracting out jobs that should normally be military-staffed personnel to civilian and US Government personnel. I did hear that NS Everett were losing military personnel, via squadron & division transfers to other bases. I think Whidbey was losing an A-6 or A-7 squadron, but those planes are so damn old, it's no wonder. I don't keep up with it as well as I used to.

After sending a e mail asking for shipping today I received the following..

that's a negative ghostrider. i already told you that i have no way of mailing it right now. plus, express mail and it's only been a week? and where does it say immediate shipping? if you really want refund, no problem, i can do that coz i have access to computer. it's up to you

I have contacted Paypal and filed a complaint what else should I do?? To get a credit paid via paypal on my Amex card

Then I will leave neg feedback!!
 
Well Joe the tone of his response is not good.....even if he has personal problems he should not have answered you like that.......file a complaint now get your money back.....plenty of good people out there to deal with....good luck...
