Hi...does anyone have the phone number for Ebay so I contact them.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Does anyone know this seller? Was this auction a scam? This is the auction:

item # 150045279076

I haven't paid for this item yet btw...they also sold a Josswest. This deal just doesn't feel right.

Thanks,

Jeremy

you can request seller contact information... but keep in mind, when you do it will send the seller yours as well... and atleast you will have the name and adress and phone number they registered with..

other then that.. you can try the live help.. they should be able to give you the ebay phone number...

if its legit.. it deffinatly is a great buy...

Hey Chris...I did that...it's a lady and her phone is disconnected. The phone co. didn't have any record of her in Blair, MO. I have ask her for a phone number and gave her mine again. Last night a got a message from an "unknown" number. This guy had an accent and said he was her husband. Sounded like the big Russian guy Rocky fought in Rocky IV. He never left his number either. I want them to ship the cue Fed/ex COD. I have an account. I may try the live help thing..

Thanks,

Jeremy

I would be very skeptical. 1. No user history buying or selling for nearly 4 full years now 2.Private auction 3. No location listed 4. Disconnected phone. That's enough to steer a reasonable person away from it IMO. There's just way to many shady things going on over eBay right now to risk your money. I would only do COD if I were you. I believe that USPS also still has a COD service that's reasonable. Offer to pay the miniscule fee.

I too would suggest COD/Escrow. In the future, you may want to work this out with the seller before bidding. Good luck! :)

Hay Jeramy!

You just might want to consider a second chance offering to the next one or two highest bibbers! They might have fewer probs and for a little less why nat go the no hassle way!

All of the above. I'm pretty sure it's a scam. Ask them to send you an invoice through paypal for the amount due and let me know what happens.

I didn't decide I wanted to buy this cue till the last day. I emailed them and then placed a bid because you can't get their info unless you are involved in a transaction together. I was trying to give the seller a chance to prove it wasn't a scam. I like the cue and the price..I know it's a risk...that's Ebay.

I have an invoice...

Chris

I got the invoice yesterday thru ebay. The address is a PO box. in Blair, MO. If I sent them money thru Paypal and don't get the cue, I am screwed correct? I may get a few bucks back but not even close to the full amount. I think COD is the only way...USPS only does COD up to $1000 I believe. Fed/ex I know can handle this...I've email them this option.

COD with UPS is a viable option, but certainly not the best. First of all, the Shipper has to have an active UPS Account. Upon delivery, UPS accepts the payment (Shipper has the option of MO/CC only), they deposit that payment into their bank. Once it clears, they send a UPS Check to the Shipper, via regular mail. This process takes about 2-weeks. THe COD fee itself is $8.00.
You can not open the package then pay.

So I would recommend (highly) that you utilize Scott's Escrow Service. http://www.proficientbilliards.com/services/escrowservice.htm

Hay again

Darrel might want that thing. I told him to call you. He is looking for a GQ.
I told him your cue is probably a model 17 C but I wasn't sure. Hope this is helpful.
Nick:)

Thanks for all your help..

Hey Guys..thanks for all your help with contact info...I have emailed them with the Fed/ex COD route using my account. IF they don't want to do that then somethings shady imo...

I will keep you all posted

Thanks again,

Jeremy

Jeremy,

With all of the uncertainties with this auction I would only buy the cue using Fedex COD since you have an account. Protect yourself, if they want to sell the cue and the auction is legitiment then they will ship it COD.

Remember when I bought the Runde cue from you and I asked you to ship it Fedex COD. I wasn't trying to imply that you weren't honest I was just trying to protect myself. Our transaction went very smooth and I like the cue a lot.
