I think the poster is the builder. Great looking cue. His user name is blackpearlmaker so I’m venturing a guess that his company is black pearl cues. Looks like good work to me!

Nice looking cue - design and woods are similar to what Troy Downey used in his Gabe Owen series cues around 2000 or 2001. One difference is back then Troy used ivory not Juma. He also used Snakewood not amboyna burl. However - this here is a very nice looking cue for sale!

Could u tell us who the builder is please?
I'm the builder of the cue, my name is Al Bautista, a Filipino cuemaker since 1995, most top gun pinoy billiard pro artist used my humble works before the sponsorship era started to bloom..

Thank you for the heads up, you are correct

Thank you for the words, I didn't know it has a similar work, when I made this, all I want is to make a Szam inspired design using my favourite wood combination, with peacock, propeller and box inlays..

And lastly...is the little bump to top..🙂

Al are you building cues now fully or just your son? You built matching cues for me and my missus when your shop was in AC then you had some medical issues. After that your son built us matching jump/break cues, I am a foreigner living locally. That was 6 or 7 years back, and so far the cues all seem fine. I actually like the jump break you built me really well, and use it as my breaker quite a lot. Far left is a Mezz EC 7 you make me an extension as well. Rings in ABCD and E.

Me and my son are building the cues, yes it's still fresh on my mine making that set for you and your wife, I remember she personally handed to us the down payment on that project by visiting my shop in AC..I'm definitely confident they are all fine knowing how you take care of them, I remember you bought those JB cases for the storage of your collection,
Really enjoyed doing all the projects we made in the past..as I know they are your first custom cues..and I'm pretty sure the number are getting high😁 and wife keep on asking why so many cues😂

Hope all is well with you and your family
Keep safe my friend and God bless

Bump for the cue, and offers
