ebony and coco?

has anyone ever seen an ebony forearm with cocobolo point? if so, were you able to see the coco against the ebony, or did it just blend in?

you can, but it's not contrasty. also depends on the cocobola.

the look is nice, but i think the points look better with a single light veneer(like maple or something natural). it finishes off the points nicely.

are you looking at a website image?

I have a Ted Harris cue that I think looks really good. The cocobolo is really firey orange. Check out his web site for some examples. I'll try and post a pick.

see that's the thing joey....you can go from a bright orangey red, like shayne's, to a dark almost purpleish red.

Just imagine it backwards and that'd be close to what it would look like. Seems a little dark to me.
 
I like this one....no veneers, but very nice.....................
