Ebony dufferins w/butterfly splice in butt

does anyone have a source for these cues....im in the market to purchase some of the one piece dufferins to have them converted by different cuemakers.....i think they are very elegant and yet simple.....anyone that can help me out i would be willing to offer up some kind of finders fee......cue repair or even a small cash reward for a sucessfull lead to get some of these at a decent price.....thanks in advance ,juston

I wish I had more bud. This one, a friend of mine supplied me the house cue.
I've offered to buy it from him but he ain't sellin' after he saw what I done with it. Ivory checks on rosewood with brass trims.

It's my understanding that dufferin is out of the cue business, so a source for new dufferin's is not likely. You may consider Schmelke as an alternative. They make an ebony full splice blank similar to that, and the single butterfly is easy to do! All you need is a band saw and a belt sander. It only gets tricky if you want to make more than one "butterfly that match. The angle is very critical then.
