I have bought and sold a lot of cues over the past few years but this one looks too good and plays too good to let go (I think :rolleyes:)

I love all of Dave's cues but this one is at the top of my list....

Also trying to improve my photography skills. Easier said than done though! damn!

Great looking Kikel hope you keep this one!!
Dave is one of the best around IMO. I have played with one since 05 and just had him make a 30" shaft to match. He built the shaft without having the butt on hand and it fits perfectly. He did this in exactly the time frame he estimated and without any freaking cue builder drama. Maybe because he's not on a computer all day helps. Just a thought.....
 
Beautiful Kikel Mr. Lewis... your pictures aren't bad either! ;) Better than most on here. Kikel's cues are serious players, no doubt...and his work is flawless on all the cues I've seen. Tight veneers, great designs, and players to boot. That's a nice one! I really like the ebony, turquoise, and ivory...

Congrats! Super nice cue. Dave Kikel is one of the very best cuemakers around and one that builds fine hitting cues that look good, a rare combination these days.

Dave is tops in my book. His eye for wood combo's and build quality make him my favorite maker (in the price range I can afford)

I believe he used black paper veneers between the color veneers on this cue. I took this cue in on trade for a SW plus cash and although some may say that is nuts I couldn't be happier with my decision. Cost wise it was a wash and as far as playability the Kikel fits my hand much better and my taste in general...

Any other ivory jointed Kikels out there that should be posted???? Lets see some crazy woods people!

You know I am big Kikel fan and I want to have one of his cues on my personal collection again.
Kikel and Eric Crisp made the 2 best playing cues I've ever landed my hands on.
I like turquoise and ebony and that cue screams to be played. I love it.

I know this thread has been recently revived...as well it should be...I remember seeing this when it was originally posted and I should have commented then!

I never used to like ebony on ebony cues until about 2-3 months ago...this is one spectacular looking example of Kikel's work!!!
