Just got this cue today from Bob Danielson. The cue is fantastic in person. His execution is very very clean, and the cue is EXACTLY what I wanted it to be. The figure in the amboyna is nuts, and the ebony is jet black.

All white is ivory - points, butt cap, windows, ferrules, and joint.

I am very happy with this cue so far, and will write up a review after I have a little play with it under my belt. First playing impressions are very good though.

I also wanted to say thanks to Bob - he was a pleasure to work with and I know he worked very hard to bring this cue to life.

When I buy my first American cue i want it to be exactly like that. I cant find a single fault with it.

Whats the damage on one of those bad boys?

Contact Bob and he will get you what you need. His name on here is "bdcues", you should send him a message if you're interested.

Thanks for the compliments on it guys!

Just to show just how close Bob was to my original design intent, here is the exact picture I sent him in the beginning to show him what I wanted. The only thing different are the black outlines on the ivory, which I asked him to add after this image was made.

I think this shows his tremendous talent:

Congrats to ya. That sure is sharp looking, I especially like the ring work.

It looks like he did an excellent job judging from the picture you sent him.

Beautiful cue....the rings really set it off well and the miter cuts on the corners look to be very well done. Is that forearm cored....if so, what's the core wood? Congrats.....and enjoy. :)

The cue has a full length 6 pie laminated purple heart core. Everything is sleeved.
