Ebony on Ebony (Again)

This cue was originally finished last year, but it has been sitting in my shop ever since. I was not happy with the finish and I was not happy with some of the inlays in the Butt. I finally got off my ass and finished it up.

This one is 4 Ebony Points with an Ebony Forearm and Butt Sleeve. Veneers of White, Red, Blue and White with black papers. 4 Notched Ivory Spears in the Points, each surrounded by 4 Ivory Dots. 8 Ivory Notched Spears, 4 Notched Double Diamonds and 12 Ivory Dots in the Butt. Ivory Joint. Ivory Hoppe Ring and Ivory Signature on Bottom. Elephant Ear Wrap. The photos are seam side up.

I took a lot more photos than normal because I have a fancy new camera (Canon 50D) and built a light box like Tikklers. I'm still working on the photos, but they are coming. I can get a lot more detail in smaller size photos as opposed to my old 1600 pixel wide photos.

For those of you awaiting cues, they are coming. I did nothing in January, but work on my finish.

Hey it's missing the bumper. Don't you know AZ law only allows bumperless cues to be hoppie style. LOL

very nice

Very nice cue Tony. I would really love to be the one selling that cue. If you would , please PM me a price. Thank you.

Nothing not to like about that one. Work looks superb with nice vibrant veneers !!

Wow...beautiful work. Got to be loving that linked notched ivory diamond in the butt......very original.....great idea.

Tommy and JohnDoe, the cue is sold to Jamie from New2YouQ's. I believe this one is for his personal collection though, not for sale. You'd have to check with him.

Jamie also designed the cue. All I did was assemble it.

Depends on how you look at it. I believe it's my first cue that has an Elephant Ear Wrap on it. However, this was the second wrap that I put on this cue because I cut the butt sleeve off and redid it after the cue almost shipped out. I think I have four or five out there with Elephant Ear Wraps now.

I'm not sure if you were asking or referring to this cue. This one has a wrap. I will hopefully have around 10 cues for Valley Forge. All of them will have wraps. I have another cue in the works for Big Tattoo and that one is wrapless.
