would anybody be willing to make one for me to fit a pechauer cue.

id like it to be a strong taper and 13.5-14mm with phenolic ferrule and samsara break tip.

if anybodys willing shoot me a pm about pricing, time frame, ect or concerns

It is really not a good idea to make a shaft out of ebony. First the wood is too heavy and will upset the dynamics of the cue. Second the ebony grain is not as straight as you think. Third, as the taper runs out to the end of the shaft ebony's strength falls off drasticly and it may break off under pressure. Then there is the cost of a section of ebony 1" x 30".
With all this said. If you get me a piece of ebony dowel 1" x30" I will cut you a shaft for $100. Email hcsilvert@aol.com

PH would be a better choice... IMO.

That will finish off around 6.5 ounces, (ball park) I made a few back in the day, I believe Paul Drexler did also. You won't have to hit the ball to hard.
 
thanks for the replies guys, the cue i was intending to turn into a breaker actually got stolen today so this will no longer be needed.


on a side note, i was after a heavy cue with as much weight forward as i could, my current breaker is 26.5 oz, love em heavy and doesnt hamper my break at all(29mph not bad for that weight)
