Ed young cues

What type of hit does his cues have (soft, med, hard) ? What taper does he use on his shafts? Cues that play similar to the Ed Young cues? Any help is greatly appreciated. I've been considering getting one for my playing cue

Hey Charlie I have an Ed Young and it has a stiff hit (triangle tip) and very consistent. This one plays like a Bluegrass i had. I have only had one Bluegrass so I can only speak for the one I had. Hope this helps! Good luck with your search.
 
i had only one and it hit extremely hard and loud and played about as stiff as a SW
 
Is he still alive?
I ordered a cue from him in March 2006 and made a deposit of $400,-
He told me 18 to 24 months?
Send him a mail in 2008 asking for the status, and after that never heared from him again...

Same thing happened to me...luckily I only agreed to post a much smaller deposit. When it came time he told me he needed more time because he was dealing with a personal problem and needed a couple months extra. I said no explanation necessary and told him Im in no rush and will call you in a year. 1 yr later we traded calls for over a month and I got a number of false promises and after I left a number of voicemails and emails I never heard from him again.

Apparently helping out a sick friend.
I spoke with Him on the phone approx 6-8 weeks ago"

He mentioned that to me also, but it still doesn't justify how he has handled my situation. I know for a fact he has been down to the pool hall while he has been "helping his sick friend".

Well send him an email more then a week ago, but no reply.
Guess money lost, think he stopped making cues?
