Here is the curly maple Ed Young cue described on this page.

The butt is perfect.
One shaft has the original tip (water buffalo?) and was only used a few racks.
The other shaft has a Moori Medium and has slight bluing.
I believe both shafts have a slight taper roll which does not affect playability.

As described in the above link, this cue and the birdseye "cousin" were made for Deno Andrews.
It appears on www.cuemuseum.com and www.3cushion.com and is pictured in the Blue Book as an example of Ed Young's work.

Will include matching JP's made by Steve Kornele and a set of weight bolts from the EY/DPK shop.

Price is $GONE

Regarding the straightness of the shafts, I think many people would just call them straight.
I don't have access to a table right now, so I stretched a t-shirt over a piece of Corian to take this video:

Both shafts appear to move about the same amount.
It's hard to tell from the video, but I'd say maybe 1mm.

Ed Young cue

I got to see it at Chris's billiards in Chicago only a few days after it was completed. Fantastic looking cue. Bump for you. Deacon
