Eddie Taylor FYI

I've heard the same story about Eddie and a young guy playing at Bennies in arlington. The house man there ( Tucker Sheppard ) told me it was Truman Hogue that Eddie played. I had watched Truman play Lefty Joe at guys'n'dolls in suitland md a few days earlier. He said 'it takes a champion to play me'! He was looking for Eddie. He found him at Beenies , but didnt know he was playing Eddie. I watched Truman throw out all 15 balls and bank'em all. Wish I could have seen the match at Beenies. I got lucky to have seen Eddie play a number of times at guys'n'dolls. He ran 13 banks 1 handed against Charlie Justice . He played Jimmy Mac 100 point str8 pool 50 no count ( and won ). And I got to watch the famous 1 pocket match between him and Eddie Kelley. First time I ever heard a pool room clap for a player ( Eddie ran 8 and out starting with a 1 rail kick bank long rail to his pocket and in running out, made a 2 railer and a 3 railer. Kelley needed 1 !
