Edge sander or Drum Sander

If you had to choose between a highend edge sander or drum sander which would you lean more towards to for cue building?

I have both but a friend of mine asked which one I could do without and it was hard to choose, I wouldn't want to give up either one but I probably use the edge sander a little more.

Just looking for opinions, thank you.

I use my drup sander for inlay materials and point stock. The edge sander I have sits in a pile of dust made by the drum sander.

I have an oscillating spindle sander, and I love it.

Of course, I was not making cues, I was making guitars. Nothing better for cleaning up body sides! They come out nice and square too!

For a cue?... I guess the smallest spindle may find use radiusing inlay material for example. I can't think of any use for a sander like that otherwise on a cue!

You should have a precision ground piece of steel you stick paper to for dressing edges after you cut (I only worked with pearl myself). and the radius might be cool to dress the sides of diamonds and other shapes, but the inlay I do will be pearl and only in the butt, so basic notched diamonds and dots will be the extent for me!

I do not have an edge sander, but I have a drum sander and a belt sander. I use the belt sander every time I cut inlay pieces. I don't think I use it for anything else.

I don't use the drum sander all that often, but when I need it, I need it. All of my points are run through the thickness planer multiple times. Burls and some other woods don't fare well in the planer, so they get one pass in the planer and the rest in the drum sander. There is no way I'd attempt Amboyna or Thuya Burl points without it.
