Editing or Deleting For Sale Items

Hey, I'm new to selling on AZ and I posted an ad to sell my Dominiak Cue and possibly most of my large collection of cues and cases. Can someone please tell me how to go back and edit and or delete the ad. I wanted to lower the price on the Dominiak but can't figure out how. Thanks.

Click on the "edit" button at the bottom of whichever post you want to edit. It will pop up a version of your post that you can make changes to. After making whatever changes you want to make, click "save", and you are done. Depending on what the change is some people also find it to be beneficial to make a new post in the thread letting people know that you made a change to the original post. In a case like this some people would make a new post that says "price has been lowered in the original post" or something along those lines so that people who had already read it previously know to go back and look at the change. It is up to you if and when you feel this is necessary.

There is no way to delete a thread yourself. You can PM a moderator and ask that a thread be removed but if they got contacted by everybody for things like that it would be a full time job. Most people either just edit their original post to whatever they would prefer it say, or, if they don't want the ad any more at all, they just delete the contents of the first post and list the reason such as "item no longer for sale" or "item has been sold" or whatever the case. In the case of a sold item many people leave the ad up but just replace the asking or selling price with "item is now sold" as a courtesy to the new buyer so that the price they bought it at isn't public knowledge if they choose to sell it down the road.
