Effective opening break

This may be a legal opening break in 14.1, but I would not call it effective. From what I see, it looks like if you are playing a world class player, you get to sit down and watch a lot of balls go into the pocket.
On the plus side, you would get a lot of practice racking.

I called the four ball cross side, legal break I keep shooting

That's right and if that is going to be your standard opening break I wish you luck cause you're gonna need it.

Not my standard opening break but I do study rack dynamics constantly, this shot has the lowest probability of the 7 that I use. I respect you guys statements, this can be a fatal miss but it helped me get my high run of 47.

good shot
they tell me that louie roberts banked the corner ball 1 rail, and ran out 125
in the us open,if i am not mistaken

and if i am,it certainly sounds like something louie would try

it was fun watching him play in the 60s
last time i saw him,he was in dallas attending a guitar convention, seems he was a collector

i got his balabushka for a friend

he often got my money

Thanks deanoc :) I'd love to share some more rack shots, I'll take some more vids next time I hit the pool hall. My friend Mike T. (I'm sure some of you know him) showed me a shot that got me thinking, he's an old schooler and is my chosen mentor in the area as he has more experience than anyone I know. I studied his shot which led me to a multitude of shots from the rack. He says I'm the most aggressive player ever but I can say the same for him lol
