How is one ball one pocket played?

rules vary, but when i've played it it's OB frozen on the bottom rail and the CB likewise on the head rail. if you foul you have to make the ball twice.

is that what they were playing here?

One ball. Who ever makes it first wins. It can be a very slow boring game to watch-depending on who’s playing. There’s no other game in pool with less pocketing of balls-so it’s pretty dry- unless your betting on it.

One player has his pocket the other has the other like 1P. Can’t go for your hole on the break. I’ve seen several different rules for where the balls or OB starts for the first shot-the break. It’s alt break as well. I’ve never seen it where you can shoot at your hole on the break to win. The first shot must be played safe.

I wish they would post some video of the match to see how it is played by two top players.

Perfectly executed timing shot just like pulling a rabbit out of the hat.

Lucky? Efren said I don't think so.

They are playing pretty much normal one pocket rules using only one ball.
One ball starting out the game is froze on the middle of the bottom rail and the breaker can not shoot at his hole on the break.

Who ever the gent is that posts about shots made and then gives it ago , to see if he can match the shot , along with how many attempts, he needs to step up on this one.
