Here's Efren on his way to his first and only US Open title in a video just posted by Accu-Stats.

I found the breaks interesting. The wing ball is dead only part of the time. The nine ball is dead once.

Reyes defeated Varner in the finals that year, 1994, for his only US Open 9-Ball Championship. Reyes also made it to the finals the next 3 years but lost them all (to Pierce, then Morris, then Strickland).
