Efren misses this?

I missed one hanging last night . Instead of rolling the ball in and letting the CB hit the rail I decided to shoot and stop and I mis-cued. Anybody could of made this ball 100 out of 100 times. A little lapse in concentration is all it takes
Anything can be missable if your careless on the approach

Treat every shot with the same amount of respect.

How about "taking a shot that is not part of your match while the match is in progress?" Is that a reasonable definition? If not, what would you propose?

I would not consider it a shot unless an object ball was involved.

There were object balls on the table. And Efren was trying to hit them with his practice shot, going 3-4 rails, but came up 7 diamonds short.
