Efren's bag of tricks

That is one thing about watching Efren play. You never know what he will come up with. I thank God that I have been able and have the pleasure of watching him play over the years.

I'll go out on a limb and say you're still at an angle, even if a small one. You can also just say that I suck and I don't know what I'm talking about because I haven't been playing long. Either way is fine with me. :) Just post a response, because you've got one of my favorite avatars.

Edit: I've used a very slightly elevated cue to do a pop-shot to eke the OB by a potential blocker, but I'm not sure if I've done it with a level cue. I'll try the next time I'm at a table, but it doesn't sound feasible without even a slight angle.

You are always at a slight angle because of the rails impeding the butt of the cue... however, it will work if you hit as high as you can on the cue and get as level as possible.. Just hitting above center on the CB will impart a downward force on the CB and make it jump.. level or not..

umm no, go try it. just put a cue ball in the jaws of the pocket and roll in directly on to the spot. I will let you try if 20 a shot and give you odds.

I was exaggerating a little when I said any good one hole player, but I was just making a point.. I think its not the skill to roll to the spot that is impressive in Efren's game, but more the timing of the things he does. Whether it be for $1 or a million, he seems to just shoot the best shot to give himself a chance to win.

Trust me... he is the best player ever and his game is without equal...

Ok... what are my odds? and does it have to touch the spot or land directly in the exact center??

Can we bet more?

you can get 3 to 1 with a ball hanging in your opponents hole and the cue ball hanging in yours, all you have to do is get the cue ball on the spot so he has to kick long rail only to make his ball. to bad I wont be in Florida any time soon.

Haha.. 3 to 1 is pretty low odds considering how hard you think the shot is. What would you give Efren? 2 to 1? :)

What would you require to bet the same thing?
