I was surprised when I watched this that Efren didn't have more in his case , I know we see alot of players have alot of different things from Tip tools to extra shafts and butts but Efren was pretty simple , Powder , Sticks and a tip tool .

I thought it was pretty funny that he had only one shaft for each of his cues and also if I caught it right, that he didn't put his cue case and cues inside of his luggage like I do, when flying.
When I think of Efren, I think of a song.
I couldn't conjure up Bobby McFerrin so I'll substitute DONKEY GIRL SINGING THE SONG that makes me think about Efren.

Efren's cues......................
Yeah that cue he plays with is actually his and not one of the his best friend's Judd cues that he is seen playing with ( He plays with 2 differnet ones of his friend Alex that I've seen so far ). The cue featured is a cue made by the Mezz cue company's sister company Cosmo cues. They only sell the Efren Reyes Cue line in Asia. And if im correct, ALL are made 60 inches in length and with his specific taper and tip width which is 12.5. The weights available are 19-20oz. He also switched out from his predator break cue to the Mezz.

Samm Diep did say that he has some "secret stuff" in the case but "we'll give him a break" and just talk about what we saw. Efren said something about Master chalk but only showed the well-worn Cosmo chalk. I guess he has an endorsement deal with Mezz/Cosmo and didn't want to show competitors. But he seemed pretty definite about not carrying more cues or shafts.
I wonder why they only sell the Efren Reyes cue line in Asia. Maybe because he wanted to leave his options open about endorsements in America? But, to my knowledge, he's never endorsed anything in America.
Since there's nothing really valuable in the case, I guess he doesn't worry about putting his cue case through normal baggage.

I forgot when but when his player and break cue were both Judd JT-1 ( Player with cocobolo handle and the break with ebony handle ) he used the ebony handled JT-1's extra shaft as his playing shaft for his Cocobolo handled JT-1. You'll see some pictures of this where he has the cue and you can see the collar of the shaft is black. Aside from that don't know why they wont offer the Reyes line of cues elsewhere. I'm pretty sure you can have a dealer order you one, but with a price tag of 1220.00 US I'm pretty sure that has something to do with it. Piroxicam, Cliff Bar, liquid bandaid and somtimes another brand of energy bar that I refuse to disclose. The will just have to have a What's in the case for JoeyA to find out the other top secret nutritional bar. Used to have tweezers but someone borrowed them and I haven't seen them since.
