Hey all,
I've been looking, for a long time, for the "right" billiards sign for my pool room. I wanted a classic, vintage looking sign, and I wanted it to match my decor. Through my searching, I came upon the following eBay listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Billiards-Hall-Sign-Pool-Very-Nice-w-Gold-Leaf-/261376848787?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cdb463393
That's the sign for which I've been looking! The only problem, I have tournament blue cloth, not red/burgundy. So, I set about contacting the seller, and asked about customization. the makers name is Mike Dinley, and his answer was "No problem!" Seems the majority of his work is full custom pieces. The man was an excellent person with whom to work, and my sign turned out perfect. His communication was awesome, and did you miss it; the sign was perfect.

Here is the description from the eBay listing:
This auction is for a very nice and ellegant looking Billiards Hall sign. The best part about this sign is you get to customize your sign. You get to add you're name where the word Cheek is and you also get to set the price for games. You can also change the things you want people NOT to do in your Billiards Hall. Sign measures 12 inches high by 30 inches wide and is made out of 1/2 inch thick mdo sign plywood. Sign has black background, the word billiards has a burbundy background with gold leaf lettes, the other words are vintage cream . All the scroll work ect. is also gold leaf. Comes complete with hanger on the back so you can hang it as soon as it arrives. The sign looks beautifull in person much better than I can get in the pictures. I clear coat the sign for extra protection and shine. They are really a great deal for the price I guarentee you won't be disappointed.
Just to give you a better picture, here are some other billiards related signs he has created:

I have more examples, if you guys are interested, of his non-billiards related work. They, too, are amazing. Again, the man's name is Mike Dinley, and if you contact him directly, you can avoid the eBay charges: dinmike@yahoo.com. Just tell him Josh sent you.
I hope this catches some of your all's eyes. The man was a pleasure, and he work is top notch. I'd love to be able to send some work his way. I know two teammates of mine are going to send orders through me, here very soon.
Thanks for your time.
Josh
