Does anyone have any experiences with Elite Cases?

I'm thinking of buying this one:

2 butt and 2 shaft spring loaded tube style case. Spacious pockets, carrying handles, and shoulder strap. Protect your cue for less.

Exterior Colors- Black.
Shape- Oval.
Material- Vinyl.
Pockets- 2, the longer pocket is 14 inches in length.
Base- Black plastic feet.
Length- 32".
Interior. Structure- Poured rubber mold casing
Lining- Felt/soft cloth
Direction- Shaft inserts tip down Butt- Butt inserts pin down
Length- Fits up to 30" shaft
 
Nice cases, I have sold a few and had a 2x4 I used for over a year before I sold it. Held up very nice. Good prices too.
 
I have had one..... In that price range, I would go with Porper instead... they hold up better.....
 
this guy just had some brianna187 cases

look this guy up buy a real case if you have a valuable cue. He was selling real ones for 200. I use longoni made in italy for predator. It is safe for airline travel. As of 911 you cue goes in the baggage Mark He is on the other forms as well cues,machinery,cue maker
 
I had a very bad experience with an elite case.. the one I got had been made wrong and the butt tube was so ovular that the cue got stuck in there. The tubes were some form of rubber so it created a seal against the finish. If it were my cue, I'd spend the extra money on a case with soft felt lining all the way down the tube.
 
The butt's go in joint first only so you can't stand the cue in the case and like the poster above said it could get stuck in the rubber. I wouldn't want a case that didn't take the butts both ways... either butt or pin down.
 
Actually mine got stuck joint first! lol! I quickly coughed up the scratch for an instroke case after I nearly had to cut my Samsara out of the Elite.

I'm not sure how prevalent the problem is though, I have heard a lot of good things about the Elite cases. Just be sure to get it from a reputable retailer so if there is a problem you can get your money back quickly.
 
Thanks for the replies everyone. It was very helpful. I'll keep looking around for other cases since I need my cues to go in bumper first.

A tip for tight tube cases...use joint protectors, and if the butt or the shaft go in "too far", thus can get stuck? Get thyself to a toy store, buy some marbles. Push as many down the case tube as needed with either your shaft or butt. Enough to prevent the cue from ever dropping down into the danger zone...
