Hello,

Looking for some input on this finish from someone that actually uses it, pro's and con's. How long should I let it dry before buffing out?

I have used the search function and have read every post about it but still looking for comments on the EM9300. Most of the old post turn into ceramathane replies.

Thank you

You can sand it the next day but it won't get really hard enough to polish and buff for 5 to 7 days.

When I used it I waited 5 days and then wet sanded with 600, 1000, 1500, and then 2000. Then I polished it with turtle wax white polishing compound, meguiars plastex, meguiars swirlex, meguirars show car glaze, meguiars gold carnuba wax.

Nice hard shine. It will get a bluish cast to it if it is too thick.

It is 30 percent solids which means simply 70% of what you are using is water that leaves the material. The universal equation is 100% solids materials which are two component will give you 16 dry mills per 100 square foot per gallon. Your multiplier becomes .16 times solids.

Problems can occur by applying this type coating to thick as the surface will cure first leaving a milky residue.

If you read the product information it is used for a thin film top coating.

The industry in general however is making great strides as the EPA is demanding lower VOC's.
