Enco 110-1340 engine lathe

Hey folks,
I have the possibility of picking up a ENCO 110-1340 ENGINE LATHE - 110 / 220 V - SINGLE PHASE. It is a 13x40 and the price is very good. It is in great condition. Just wondering what your thoughts or suggestions are regarding this particular lathe.
There a Delta lathe not too far away from at the same price range but is only 36" between centers. All good advice is welcome

i have a 110-2031 that ive had since 88 and still works great

Take a gauge pin, chuck it up and indicate it.
Engage power feeds and threading gear to make sure they are working.
Check the ways to make sure it's in good shape.

what joey said....also, find a fairly well taken care of metal lathe, observe its parts so that you can make a somewhat educated decision. If it seems to good to be true then it probably is.
